Did you know that it takes 22 months for an African elephant to give birth to her baby? Am I comparing the birth of The Performing Heart to the birth of a baby elephant? Yes. Yes, I am.
The labor has been intense, folks. I must confess that I have not endured the fits and starts of the writing process, then the ups and downs of the publishing process with amazing grace, although I have endured. Just not gracefully.
So, I am happy to report that my love of the absurd kicked in when an excited follower messaged me that she had downloaded my book.
I asked, “The Quiet Heart?”
“No,” she said. “The Performing Heart.”
“The Performing Heart?” I said.
“Yes,” she said. “The Performing Heart. Here is the link.”
